RACA Compliance Endorsement - Program and Audit Outline
Overview
The ASIST® Compliance Endorsement is peace of mind and the best defence a RACA site can have:
- to prove the site complies with your RACA obligations; and
- against being prosecuted or removed from the RACA List.
Objectives
The objectives of the ASIST® Compliance Endorsement are to:
- keep you and your management informed of your company’s level of compliance with your RACA Transport Security Program (TSP); and
- ensure your company complies with your approved RACA TSP and avoids being prosecuted or removed from the RACA List.
The ASIST® Compliance Endorsement program includes:
1. Annual Compliance Audit
ASIST® will conduct an annual audit of the cargo security procedures to:
- ascertain whether the site is complying with the Agent’s approved RACA TSP;
- advise the RACA whether the site leaves the RACA liable to be prosecuted or removed from the RACA list; and
- provide a written report that details the level of compliance with recommendations as appropriate.
2. Development Assistance
ASIST® will, if requested, help RACA develop a compliance system that complements operational procedures and ensures RACA comply with their approved TSP.
3. ASIST® Compliance Endorsement Certificate
Sites that meet the endorsement standard on the day of an audit will be issued an ASIST® Compliance Endorsement Certificate.
4. RACA Security Training Accreditation
ASIST® will provide RACA security training at 25% off the standard training price for each employee who is employed at the site and completes RACA security training. Training will be provided via the ASIST® computer based training program or self-paced workbooks. Personnel must be employed at the site to be eligible for discount training. Personnel who work off site or from other sites are not eligible for discounted training.
5. Free Telephone / Email Advisory Service
ASIST® will provide a free telephone and email advisory service for all Security Contact Officers, Site Program Administrators, site managers and airfreight supervisors.
6. Free Advice during Department Audits
ASIST® will, on request from the RACA, attend and advise the RACA during any audit conducted by the Office of Transport Security.
