RACA Security Training - Training Pre-requisites
People completing Regulated Air Cargo Agent (RACA) training must be a RACA or a RACA employee. Trainees need to be able to read, write and understand English.
The RACA 1 competency is a pre-requisite for the RACA 2 competency and for the RACA 3 competency.
Computer System
People using the DVD Training Package need the following minimum computer specification:
- Intel Pentium with 1 Ghz processor (or AMD equivalent);
- Windows® (English) with 256Mb RAM or Windows XP® (English) with 512Mb RAM or Windows Vista® (English) with 1024Mb RAM;
- 1024x768 monitor resolution with 16 bit colour graphics adaptor;
- 8 speed DVD-R compatable DVD-ROM drive;
- Sound Adaptor (in-built, add-on USB) with speakers or headphones;
- Adobe Acrobat (free download from DVD) for sample document features;
- Apple’s QuickTime (free download from DVD) for multimedia feature used in assessment activities;
- Connected to a printer and access to a fax;
- Internet connection required, broadband is highly recommended;
- the company must authorise the program's access to the internet through any hardware or software firewalls used by the company to manage internet access; and
- Hard disk drive with 5Gb of available space to install program.
